Terrier - Young - Female
Adoptable Medium Spayed/NeuteredUp-to-date with routine shots

Hi my name is Ellie and I am a 10 month old terrier mix. I was discarded at a Flint shelter in very bad condition, where I had to subsequently undergo 4 surgeries to fix me up: I have since been healing in my foster home. I am a spunky rambunctious little chick who wants to be right by my person’s side at all times. My foster mom says I am very smart! I learned my name, sit and shake all in one afternoon. I also know down, but I like to jump to get attention and play. Being 10 months, I still act like a puppy and am very mouthy. I’m working on my potty training and also crate training, but will need to continue my learning. I am very treat motivated to do good things!

I really like kitties and sometimes I like to chase them. Its fun! High energy dogs often make me nervous which can make it harder for me to behave, so I would do best in a home as an only dog or with lower energy dogs. Because I play rough, older dogs would probably not be my best sibling pair and I would do well in a home with older and respectful children.

Of note, household items I cannot stand include tape measures, vacuums & stud finders!

Up to date on vaccinations. Spayed & microchipped. Rides well in cars. Decent with leash training. Approximately 35lbs.

Ellie is available for adoption through Pet Tales Rescue in Grand Rapids, MI. Please go to www.pettalesrescue.com and fill out an application. Her adoption fee is $265 plus $15 for the microchip for a total of $280 payable by cash or card through the rescue’s website.

* Pet Tales Rescue does not have a physical shelter location as all of our pets are in foster homes. To meet Ellie or one of our other fosters, you will need to fill out an application. After your application is reviewed, one of our volunteers will contact you to set up a time to meet her.

Thank you for adopting, not shopping!
