Available! Meet ð???CHANCEð??? Remember the movie Homeward Bound?? That was the inspiration for his name! Chance is a 1-1.5 year old, American Bulldog Mix. He came to Pet Tales as a stray, and is the goofiest, derpiest, cuddliest, most loving boy. Heâ??s so handsome with his bat ears and bulldog jowls.

Chance is fully house trained, and knows basic commandsâ??sit & shake. He will lay down with the hand signal, but not the words alone.

He does have some crate anxiety and has medications for this as neededed. He was a stray and was probably never crated. If there are no other pets in your home, he would prefer to roam while youâ??re gone and does very well. He is a Houdini level crate escape artist so if you have other pets he must be crated, and his foster parents can show you how to reinforce a collapsible, metal crate with zip tiesâ??it does the job very well! His foster parents are doing a wonderful job working with him on his crate aversion, these things take time.

This guy loves (we mean LOVES) playing with other dogs, and there are two adult dogs in his foster home. If you dog does not enjoy higher-energy doggie play than he would probably not pair well with your current dog. Chance is young, and is still learning cues from other dogs as to when theyâ??ve had enough playtime. He doesnâ??t understand that not everyone wants to play with him 24/7 ð???. No kitties please.

It would be ideal for him to go to a home with taller/older children as he loves to be near you and lean into you all time. He is just a derpy, young, playful boy who doesnâ??t possess much spacial awareness so could knock down smaller children easily…of course heâ??ll follow up with tons of kisses ð???ð???ð???!

As you can tell from the pics, he really adores his people, and snuggle time! He is a velcro dog who just wants to be near you. He may cry or bark or when left alone so he can not be adopted to someone in an apartment building. His anxiety meds have helped a lot, and as he gets older this behavior will improve with a permanent home.
